It breaks my hear to have to sell this
website. Truly. But my hands are tied, and here's why:
This project began with high hopes when a
two men approached me and wanted to setup a partnership. The deal
was he would fund the manufacturing of the product I had in mind (Mono
Aid) and once the website was finished they would take over the order
fulfillment / phone orders and customer support.
Well I upheld my part of the bargain and
created an outstanding website which with a absolutely outstanding
conversion rate in a WIDE open market...
And that's where it gets ugly. One
of the corporations partners went nuts! Literally, demanding money,
refusing to uphold his part of the deal and generally just refusing to
play ball. Could you imagine my frustration? I had nearly
three months of my time invested in this project and now this man, crazy
man, was refusing to uphold his part of the bargain? Worse still, he
was refusing to ship the orders until he got money... money for doing
nothing up until this point.
The reason this man's actions are so
important to this sell is because I've been forced into signing a paper
which entitles each one of the corporations members (3 of us) equal shares
in the selling of the business. Since we can't "fire" him, this is
truly our only exit strategy. And to be honest, if I had the right
connections I would probably just purchase the website from the
corporation myself....
And all this after we did a market test
showing this website's MASSIVE potential. In less than a week we
sold 50 bottles with an unheard of 2.3% conversion rate on a brand new
website! Without an ounce of testing we did 2.3% right out of the
